Sama coffee has amazing and unique flavor blends in their coffee. My favorites are the Rose Cardamom, Biscoff Cloud, and the Gold Digger. If you’re into unique flavors in your coffee, I highly recommend. Also they have lots of desserts that are tasty as well. The decor is so unique and a beautiful aesthetic. Love them so much that I order via Uber Eats too!!
Delightful coffee shop in San Mateo offering a wide range of beverages—teas and coffees, both hot and cold. They also have an excellent selection of sweet and savory pastries and snacks. I tried the unsweetened peach tea and a mango-pistachio bite, and both were outstanding. The seating area is beautiful, with a mix of high and low tables, making it ideal for a quiet chat or settling in to work. The staff are polite and prompt, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommended!
I have visited this café multiple times with my wife, as she enjoys their vanilla latte. As someone who regularly drinks coffee and has experience with authentic Turkish coffee and chai from my time working in Saudi Arabia, I find the Turkish coffee, cappuccino, and latte here to be below expectations.
While the ambiance is pleasant, the pricing does not align with the quality of the coffee or the level of service provided. Several staff members consistently appear dismissive, and my mobile number is often not entered for the rewards program. Additionally, the suggested gratuity feels disproportionate to the overall service experience.
I’d give it a 4.5 stars.
The atmosphere was really nice, quiet and comfy.
The Turkish coffee and cappuccino were pretty good.
Tried the rose milk cake, pistachio kadyif (I think that’s how it’s called) and chocolate “croissant”. They were all good, just not exceptional (yet). Plus points for the rose milk cake for actually tasting natural (it’s always a gamble).
I rarely write reviews for anything. So If I’m writing a review, best believe it was good. I had the Crème Brûlée Latte and Coffee Milk Cake. Latte was spectacular, Milk Cake was the best dessert I ever put in my mouth, and pairing them together was to die for. Bless the lady behind the counter that was working by herself during rush hour, who still kept a calm and kind presence which added to the overall atmosphere. This will be my new spot for the perfect pick me up ✨
