I recently visited Levant, a dessert store that specializes in Arabic sweets, and overall, I had a good experience. One of the standout aspects was the impressive variety on their menu, which included not only traditional Arabic desserts but also a selection of baked goods and different types of baklava. Although I didn’t get a chance to try the baklava this time, it’s on my list for the next visit. A pleasant surprise was the availability of Turkish coffee, which is quite rare to find around the Bay Area and added an authentic touch to the experience. I tried the pistachio rose tres leches, which was average it didn’t particularly stand out, but it was enjoyable. The atmosphere and unique menu make it worth visiting, and I look forward to trying more of their offerings in the future.

Super cute cafe with bakery, a mix of drink options including Lebanese coffee, and lunch plates. Interior design is beautiful and staff are friendly. The Levantine desserts are delicious, especially the dough. Highly recommend the balourieh. New favorite cafe in Menlo Park!

It is quite good in flavor (Pistacho Baklava Crown) But The second one I tried tasted like plastic, the filling was really very expensive for the flavor and size. (Knafeh Creme and Cheese) The third one I tried was not as good, it was "tres leches" and it was a little dry and not as sweet as expected. (Pistacho Rose “tres leches”) Chocolate too thick and bitter 👎 The first time I went and they gave me some slices in good proportion for what I paid and this last time the slice was too small for 15 dollars I ate there, but decided the rest to take away because the atmosphere felt a little unpleasant due to stares

This review is for the viral Dubai chocolate and the service. For $15 per bar of chocolate I was expecting it to be above average. It was pretty underwhelming and overrated actually. It was very thin and tasted like it was made by amateur pastry chef. Probably won’t get it again. Now, let’s talk about the service. The place was run by kids pretty much. None of them knows what basic customers service is. No one was acknowledging incoming customers and they were all just standing and chatting with each other.

Came in to just get some last minute desserts. It was later in the afternoon so it was pretty quiet and they had a few patties out, but nothing like in the morning. Service was really nice, the girl who helped me was patient and friendly. Took like 4 parties to go and 2 of the Knafeh to bake at home. A little pricy for the size of that they offer but I guess it comes with the area.
