Welcome to MyNasiha Bay Area. Thanks for giving us a chance. MyNasiha is meant to be your source for the latest happenings in the Bay Area Muslim community – from events, to restaurants, to businesses, and we hope, eventually more. In Islam, “Nasiha” is often defined as advice, however an even deeper meaning implies having sincere concern for your fellow Muslim.

That’s how we feel about our community.

Well, have you ever felt?

• • You wanted to attend events in the community but didn’t know where to look? Or

• • Weren’t aware of the newest halal restaurant you should try out? Or

• • Are hosting an event and wanted to support a Muslim business but had no idea where to look?

We hope to solve that.

This information has far too long been kept in disconnected silos – from Facebook groups to Whatsapp chats to various mosque websites. Why?  We want to bring the community together by allowing this information to be known, shared, and supported. But our ultimate aim and intention is to allow Muslims to discover, connect, and empower Muslim institutions and businesses.

As one of the most vibrant and fastest growing communities in America – now more than ever – we need to raise each other up. Thanks for joining us on this journey.  Inshallah Allah grants us success through all of you.
