The Al-Medina Education Center (MEC) is a diverse, vibrant, and historic community that was established in 2009. We seek to facilitate and provide spiritual, educational, and social services to those residing in the bay area, as well as communities abroad. MEC masjid hosts a variety of regular prayers and programming, for all ages and demographics, throughout the year. Our goal is to properly adapt the teachings of the Islamic faith and provide an opportunity to all people to employ a lifestyle of purpose and good, while working together to ensure we grow together as one unified local and global community.

9 months agoA beautiful masjid and educational center under excellent management. The Masjid is open for all five daily prayers and is located in a wonderful community. The location is ideal and very welcoming. There is ample parking available, but on Jumu'ah (Friday) prayers, it's best to arrive early or consider parking on nearby side streets due to high attendance.

a year agoReally nice, beautiful Majid and educational center under really good management. The Masjid open for five daily prayers and it is the best location and really nice in a wonderful community. Do you have a lot of parking lots only on Juma prayers come on time or park in the side street.

a week agoWe had a great Iftar when the Arabs were serving food Mashallah they serve so respectfully so loving people and even brought boxes and gave to us to take home Allah give them Ajar and barakah but the next time we went it was desi food and the aunties serving there have been so rude and yell at people so loudly we could not even eat as the food was too spicy anyways Allah give ajar to the organizers
