Came to pray before Maghreb athan as I had to go somewhere. Saw lovely kids playing and asked them where the women’s entrance was to pray. They went inside to ask someone (men’s side was open), and one of the kids told me “to go pray at home.” I’m not sure if that’s the kid’s own response or repeating what someone else told him inside, but it’s unfortunate the house of Allah wasn’t open to me despite it clearly being open. Felt like whoever that person was didn’t want to be bothered with walking a few steps to open up the women’s section. Really do better for our ummah
