A Persian-inspired cafe situated in Castro Valley with a poetic touch, offering specialty coffees, teas, and Middle Eastern desserts in an artistic setting.
I was passing through from the Bay Area and needed a place to kill some time due to terrible traffic conditions. The service I received was truly top notch. The atmosphere was nice and calm. The food was absolutely fantastic. The morrocon Tea was the best thing I’ve had since I was 10 at my grandparents house!!
Wow, how do I even begin to describe this place??
I just fell in love with this place. I have been going here for so many years that the service has memorized my order.
I go here every Wednesday for a quick Chai since my school starts later.
And the bagels, OMG HOW DO THEY MAKE IT TASTE SO GOOD???
Wow, just wow. Five stars all around.
Who ever loves Coffee - highly recommend coming here. :)

One of the most unique spots around!
This cafe has a great vibe — not traditionally cozy, but definitely full of energy and personality. The atmosphere is very vibe-y in the best way. The staff genuinely try their best to deliver great service, and that effort shows. What really makes this place stand out is the crowd — such an interesting mix of people, full of character and charm.
I used to travel a long way to come here, and now that I live nearby, I’m really happy I can just walk over. My go-to order is a cup of latte and a salmon bagel — my favorite comfort combo.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for something real, welcoming, and just a bit different from the usual.
The place smelled delicious and the decor/theming was very cute! It was filled with families, people playing a board game, and good vibes. The pink tea lattes were yummy and so was the dervish latte. We were also very happy to see that they had gluten free pita and ordered a gyro bowl, which was very tasty!
The only thing that I noticed that wasn’t absolutely perfect was that the large wooden table was sticky. It was NOT dirty at all, the finish is just degrading from frequent cleaning/disinfecting. It’s a sign of proper cleanliness. I hope they choose to strip and refinish the table and not just replace it, I liked the look and shape of the natural wood!
I really liked the place and will be coming back!
Nice little cafe in Castro valley , had the famous pink tea. The tea tested excellent but just a bit too sweet. The saffron chicken platter was excellent and same was the veggie platter
