Awesome coffee shop in the hood!
And their pastries are delicious!
I came early in the morning to have a cappuccino and the place was just perfect and clean, I highly recommend Haraz if you are looking for a place to meet up with friends or have some work done from any device.
All payments accepted.
Haraz is great. Ambience has perfect neighborhood coffee shop vibes. Service is excellent, staff is friendly. Open super late and they let you sit their with your device or book for extended periods. What a coffee shop is supposed to be. Haven't tried the food but drinks are delicious.
My one and only (major) gripe: the under-filling of the drinks is egregious. Every coffee shop under-fills their cups to some extent, and it's usually annoying but tolerable, but this is bordering on false advertising. I've ordered a 16 oz latte several times at this point and it is routinely 12 oz. Pic attached of the totally unsipped latte in the cup and in my (actual) 16 oz personal cup. Can't justify it at almost $8 (!!!) for a latte. 4 stars because it's otherwise perfect.
I met a friend here for a weekend treat and got the Adeni chai latte with oat milk, bee bites, and knafeh. The chai was pretty standard, not sweet at all, and similar in taste and quality to other Middle Eastern cafés in the City. My friend suggested to try the bee bites and knafeh, and I’m glad they did because both were delicious. I especially liked the knafeh, which was lightly sweet and nutty. Pistachios are my favourite type of nuts, so it was the perfect choice.
The shop is rather small and cozy but still has quite a bit of seating, and I saw most people working on their laptops here. It seems like this place is very conducive to working, as it’s well lit with a lot of natural light and not too loud. They also have a restroom for convenience if you find yourself here for a while. Between the coffee, treats, and amenities, this place is fully equipped for a productive work session while also being suitable for a coffee chat.
I had a pleasant experience here and look forward to coming back again.
Beautiful coffee shop with delicious Yemeni coffee. Nice selection of pastries. The Sana’ani cardamom coffee was delicious. All set in a comfy environs with soulful melodies streaming. Definitely worth a visit.
A delightful cafe with exciting coffee options beyond the American standards. Note that the ginger coffee packs a strong punch! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable; the barista happily answered my questions and shared her recommendations.
While the coffee menu is great, the Biscoff milk cake is fine but unremarkable; some cake layers weren't fully saturated and the flavor is mild.
The light-filled interior is a very pleasant place to dine in, with rich wooden furnishings, glass walls great for people-watching, and interesting coffee history facts on the walls. And the staff is great. I would definitely go back.
