Muslim Community Association (MCA) was incorporated as a non-profit religious organization in 1981. We have come a long way from our humble beginnings back in the year 1982-83 when we had a very small place for prayers that soon grew into Masjid-un-Noor. Continued growth then led to acquisition of the MCA building in 1994.
MCA has grown several folds in terms of its community strength and size in the last 30 years. Our main MCA building is approximately 90,000 sq. ft. in size including the lobby expansion that was opened to public in August 2011. In May 2013, MCA has purchased 33,000 sq. ft. next door facility (3033 Scott Blvd). Alhamdollah due to the campus expansion, MCA became the largest Islamic Center in the United States. We have over 3,000 people attending Jumaa prayers on Fridays. Our Granada Islamic School provides one of the best schooling alternatives to our community members who wish to offer quality education to their children in an Islamic environment.
In addition to being open for prayers five times a day, MCA provides Educational programs (dawah), outreach services, social services, Weekend Islamic School (WIS) programs, Islamic Counseling and Education (ICE), Youth and Women’s services, Reknowned visiting scholars, etc. All of this has been possible primarily due to the Will and Blessings of Allah (SWT) and due to the very generous support of our community members and tireless efforts of many dedicated volunteers over the past few decades.

8 months agoThe Muslim Community Association (MCA) in Santa Clara, California, is a vibrant and well-maintained Islamic center that serves as a focal point for the local Muslim community. Your visit there for the Maghrib prayer on Arafat Day must have been a special experience. You were pleasantly surprised by the community’s hospitality, as they provided dates and water, along with fruits, for breaking the fast. The evening was further enhanced by a delicious dinner, showcasing the community's generosity and warmth. The mosque itself is impressive, with separate, spacious prayer areas (musallahs) for both men and women. It includes a function hall, a school, a playground, a cafeteria, and ample parking space, making it a comprehensive facility for various community needs. The well-maintained premises and the array of services and facilities reflect the dedication of the MCA to serving its members and fostering a strong sense of community. Coming from the Middle East, you found the MCA to be one of the best centers you have encountered in the United States, indicating the high standards of upkeep and the inclusive, welcoming atmosphere it offers.

5 years agoVery impressive masjid. The men’s musallah can hold at least 1000 people, with multiple entrances surrounding it. Same for parking- it encircles there whole building, with overflow parking available curb side along the street. Because of that, congestion isn’t a big problem during jumua’ah. Wudu facilities are excellent. They have a cafe just outside the musallah as well.

6 years agoThis is a mosque/community center for Muslims and they have a halal cafe/restaurant in there as well. Went to see a friend there and tried some food from the cafe. I ordered some premade hot items ready to go. I picked up chicken and beef samosas, chicken turn overs, calzone gyro and shawarma. Food was to be honest not too good. It was ok.
