Praying today at the 4450 Rosewood Dr. center was actually very nice and peaceful, far from the maddening crowds. In future I’m planning to come here for jummah inshallah. Thanks MCC for providing this facility. Jazakhallah Khair.

On what basis have you delayed Eid by a day when all communities in Northern California are celebrating it on the 30th? Why are you following Pakistan’s decision instead of Saudi Arabia? Your stance is contradictory and contributes to division among Muslims. You cite Surah Al-An’am (6:116), but it does not support conspiracy theories. Likewise, Surah Al-Imran (3:103), which calls for unity among Muslims, unfortunately applies to your actions.

So saddened that MCC is making every effort to divide the Muslim community! Celebrating Eid Aladha in different days (06/17 vs. 06/16) from the rest of the USA and muslim world just makes its board’s sanity and knowledge about Islam basics very questionable. Basically MCC stands out not by serving or uniting the community but by denying Arafat day. May the almighty guide you to the right path.
