About Us
Almost 14 years later, the Islamic Center of Alameda has flourished
and thrived into a pulsating, vibrant community in 2012. Testament to
this growth is the establishment of ten functioning committees that
provide the many arms that is needed to run an organized, successful
community — from academic enrichment programs, social services and
finally, the expansion of the scope of community building to include
monthly public feedings in areas of Oakland and Berkeley. ICA’s vision
of Islamic unity and brotherhood as a global concern & responsibility
remains an ever evolving commitment to service not only for Muslims
and Islam but for the benefit of the greater.

7 months agoMasjid Quba is a beautiful and serene place of worship. The mosque is well-maintained and offers a peaceful environment for prayer and reflection. They have a dedicated room for ladies upstairs and a convenient place for wudu (ablution). The community is welcoming, and the facilities are excellent. I always feel a deep sense of tranquility and connection when I visit. Highly recommended for anyone

a year agoMy son moved in this area a few months ago and I was trying to find a masjid where we can offer our Jumma whenever we visit him. We went there last month and in the beginning it was a little confusing for me when they started the Sunnah after the speech. Later when we completed the whole Jumma Salah then we realized that Subhan Allah, they are truly following the sunnah of our beloved Prophet PBU. Since then we have decided to go to this Masjid every time we are here. It’s a very simple Masjid with a small makeshift place for ladies prayer area but I still loved it. We are not Afghan as it says on google that it’s serving Afghan community, but we felt this Masjid welcomes everyone as all the Masajids are supposed to be Alhamdulillah. ❤️

8 months agoVery clean Mosque. If you don’t find Parking, there are plenty in the surrounding blocks.

2 years agoI love going to this masjid the people here are kind and welcoming. Plus there is a public parking across the street. Don’t forget to pay for the meeter.
