Sana'a Cafe offers a nice quiet environment to unwind and enjoy a beverage and desert. The decor is interesting and the ambience of the lighting, wall color, and furniture is comforting. The Chai tea is a little to sweet for my taste but it was pleasantly good. I definitely will return.
First time here at Sanaa coffee. I ordered the Arabic light roast coffee. It was good. Service was very good and friendly staff
Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere; good place to work or relax
Pastries like baklava and pistachio milk cake
Will definitely be back.
It’s nice to have a Yemeni cafe in SF! The menu is impressive here, a lot of drinks and desserts. I was not too impressed by the iced adeni chai, compared to the other Yemeni cafe’s I’ve been to - it felt a bit watered down. Willing to give them another shot some time though. The Nutella cheesecake was good.
Lovely space serving Yemeni coffee and tea, as well as a variety of Middle Eastern and classic Western sweet treats. There's plenty of seating, and the space is quite cozy, although a bit too dark for my liking to stay in and work for the entire day. I got an iced matcha (wanted to keep it classic and had too much coffee that day) and their baklava. The matcha was solid, although a bit too milky for my taste; we also got it unsweetened but it still tasted quite sweet, which wasn't my favorite. The baklava was also quite tasty, but I didn't love the extra glaze of icing they added on top -- it certainly added to the presentation, but baklava is already so sweet that I wasn't particularly excited to have anything added on.
The service was speedy and friendly, although the barista was chatting on the phone throughout our interaction (and for most of the few hours that I was there). They seemed to be able to balance their conversation while supporting customers perfectly fine, so I didn't particularly have an issue with it, but it wasn't my favorite.
What a cool place.
Just around the corner from the W hotel. Laid back vibe, plenty of seating, friendly customer service, and most importantly delicious coffee and pastries.
The coffees and drinks are unique with flavors you won't find elsewhere. The pastries and desserts were all fresh and large portions.
Highly recommended if you're in the area. Get your order for dine-in, stay awhile, and enjoy the vibe.
