Personal injury attorney Shafeeq Sadiq was born in Stockton, California and grew up as one of six children in nearby Lathrop. As the son of a farm worker, he was taught the value of hard work. After graduating from Lathrop Elementary and East Union High School in Manteca, he obtained his B.A. from U.C. Davis and his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from U.C. Hastings College of the Law in 2004. He was admitted to the Bar in December 2004.
Shortly after passing the bar, Mr. Sadiq began working in-house for a well-known insurance company litigating personal injury cases. During his seven years as in-house counsel, he litigated hundreds of cases from inception to conclusion.
Since 2011, Mr. Sadiq has dedicated his law practice to advocating for personal injury and wrongful death victims and their families. He has tried jury trials in San Joaquin County, Stanislaus County, Merced County, Amador County, and Calaveras County. In 2022, he obtained the highest personal injury verdict in the history of San Joaquin County when a jury awarded his client, a motorcyclist, just under $24 million at trial. It was the fourth largest motor vehicle verdict for the State of California that year.
Mr. Sadiq is a member of the Capital City Trial Lawyers Association (CCTLA) and the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation only organization for trial lawyers with the requisite trial experience that exhibit the virtues of civility, integrity and professionalism. For his accomplishments, he was awarded CCTLA’s 2022 “Advocate of the Year” and ABOTA’s 2023 “Trial Lawyer of the Year.”
Mr. Sadiq is fluent is Spanish as well as several Indian and Pakistani dialects.
In his spare time, Mr. Sadiq likes spending time with his family and staying in shape training and coaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He holds a black belt in BJJ.

4 weeks agoMr. Shafeeq Sadiq esq. is a Phenomenal Attorney and most importantly he is located right here downtown Stockton as we old Stocktonians would recognize the old PGE building refurbished and beautified! I will not divulge the law firm I first selected, know this, it was a Big Law Law firm. I will tell you I never met the actual attorney and very bad information was exchanged and lies. I googled "Slip Trips and Falls" Local Stockton Attorney: "Sadiq Law Firm" came up even though alphabetically would never surfaced. Like the hand of God! Mr. Sadiq was extremely approachable and his staff beyond professional. Mr. Sadiq resolved my case with knowledge and expertise and managed my case in record time yielding 4 times the previous attorney estimate and more than 3 times what I was hoping for.
