a month agoA small mosque, being operated by Yaseen foundation near the air port, Belmont/ San Mateo. We offered Jum'a prayers, on way to San Francisco. There were 60/70 attendees. The Imam was delivering sermon ; but, certain topics were not recommended to be communicated the way he was delivering.( Non- Muslims vs. Muslims conflict and Gender Choice in USA).Care must be taken to discuss such sensative topics, particularly when Muslims here are in minority. Similarly, as pointed out by some brother that dangerous toys should not be allowed here. Overall good to see it as a blessing for nearby Muslims.Provision of toilets is welcoming. Suggest that the name of the Mosque is named after Caliph or some famous Muslim Personality.

7 years agoA great little mosque located in San Mateo right off the highway. It's always very clean and well maintained! There's parking in front and on the street. There's also a sisters area that is quite large for the size of the mosque itself. It's always impressive how many programs they have for the community considering the size of the place. A great resource for the community!

7 months agoI can't give less than five stars for the House of Allah. However, I’ve recently encountered an issue with the door being locked. I like to arrive early before prayer to spend some quiet time inside, but lately, the door remains closed until the last minute. Unfortunately, the phone number listed on Google Maps is not helpful, as no one answers. I hope those responsible for managing the masjid can look into this matter. Jazakum Allahu Khayran.
