2 years agoMy first time here as I was visiting this area and need to pray Asr. It's always open and met friendly people who help to show where prayer area and ablution place. Very clean and easy to find.

9 months agoThis Masjid has very good reciters for the Taraweeh Salah, I noticed some things were different, some good and some bad. I enjoyed listening to the Qari’s, however one thing I noticed from this Masjid was a big free mixing/crowding problem. Men and women sitting together at tables for iftaar. Many of the women were also crowding the courtyard and standing in front of the mens entrance, and blocking the exit out of the courtyard, and it felt very suffocated and in fact it is contrary to the Islamic legislation and Islamic values which seeks to protect men and women. My advice to the board and those in charge is to focus on fixing this free mixing problem, as this is a stain on the community, regardless of what incorrect “opinions” may be brought forth, there is no reliable or authentic evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah that can be utilized to suggest that this is permissible, rather the evidence suggests that this sort of free mixing is impermissible and means should be taken to avoid it. Some of the people are desensitized to this and see it as normal, while those who aren’t desensitized are disturbed by this, and Allah knows best. Ibnul-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said that: "Those who are the guardians and responsible for the affairs of others, allowing the woman to intermingle and free mix with the men is the causes of destruction to descend upon entire societies of people."
