Welcome to the San Ramon Valley Islamic Center. Established in 1992 by a few families, that grew over the years to an 8,000 Sq. ft. facility; serving thousands of Muslims in the tri valley area . At SRVIC, we offer religious, social and educational teachings to the local Muslim community, enabling it to be a positive contributor to society.
Our philosophy is a simple 3 step process that stems from the Quranic verse above, where SRVIC continues to:
- Create an environment that attracts people, especially the youth.
- Provide proper education, and projects to enhance and amplify the goodness in people,
- Develop the network, events and programs to broadcast the amplified goodness back into society.
All of which is done is accordance with Allah’s message of Islam; a message of moderation that is at the center of east and west.

5 months agoSome great people who volunteer their time and effort to keep the education programs running. Some of them, however, could seriously do with an attitude adjustment. These are the people that muslims and non-muslims have to interact with and the responses/communication from a certain couple of people is as if they were talking to a 5 year old. Rude, disrespectful and condescending. Not a great way to represent the religion. Remember, if you can’t do the job without acting like a 18th century school headmaster then move aside and let someone else do it.
