Sana’a Cafe is a hidden gem! The food is incredibly tasty, and every dish is prepared with care. The milk tea, in particular, stands out — rich and flavorful, it’s a must-try. The pots and cups used for serving are delicate and add to the authentic experience. The staff here are super friendly and always provide excellent service with a smile. The atmosphere is cozy, and the place is impeccably clean, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying tea, Sana’a Cafe is a delightful experience that shouldn’t be missed.
I love this Yemeni cafe ! It is always such a pleasant experience.I do not mind the 45 minute drive from my house as I know I will be having a delightful experience .The esthetic of the cafe is beautiful. The staff is always the friendliest and the most welcoming environment. The drinks are all extremely delicious ! My favorite thing to order is the honeycomb with extra honey ! And of course you can never go wrong with the Sana’a iced latte !
Beautiful cafe with a wonderful selection of teas, coffees and pastries. Met friends on a Wednesday at 5p, and 85% of the tables were occupied. Most tables are comfortable for 2-3 people, however there were lots of singles on their laptops. Additional seating along the window. Short line upon entering, but it moved quickly. We ordered the potato with curry and spinach with cheese stuffed pastries, chai, and iced pistachio lattes. Everything was delicious and accommodating for my one vegan and one vegetarian friend. Lovely ambiance with modern decor. Will definitely be back!
Food : honeycomb = so good, so soft, sweetness is just right. baklava = a must try, must order. i tried many baklava and all i can say is its sweet and its “okay” but their Baklava is just 💣. we also tried their biscoff cheesecake and pistachio milk cake both good but the pistachio milk cake is a perfect pair in their ADENI Chai that you SHOULD order and never miss. Adeni Chai is just 10000/10 rating. we also tried their Turkish coffee, good flavor. Spanish latte is 💣, alao tried the iced brownsugar latte, all good!!
service is 💯. baristas are friendly, accommodating and just had that very welcoming smile. love the ambiance, the decor is just 👍🏼. we have been to like 2 other yemeni coffee shops around Berkeley area but Sana’a is by far the best and the place we will surely come back and recommend to our friends. eventho i live like 1hr away from oakland, willing to drive here again. 🤚👆🏼
Highly recommend this place - they have delicious and authentic middle eastern coffee/tea and pastries. It’s also beautifully decorated with middle eastern wallpaper plus artifacts and they play Arabic music. The staff were also friendly and willing to explain everything we had questions about on the menu.
We got the Adeni tea and pistachio croissant and both were delicious. Would highly recommend.
