Yaseen Foundation – Burlingame Center (YBC)

I have visited only a few times. I want to see this place do better and be better for all of us (Muslims and non-Muslims alike). So I’m saying this with respect and care. It needs more structure and organization. The leadership needs to pay attention with great details just to tie up some loose ends. Specifically the women’s section. I wish the women’s spaces were bigger, had better lighting, working speakers, air conditioning. I had difficulty during taraweeh prayers. The speakers weren’t working so the door that separates the women’s and men’s side had to be opened. Most of the women couldn’t hear when the Imam started the prayers while he was half way finished with Surah Al-Fatiha. Every now and then, one of the sisters working there had to clap her hands in order to get our attention. The rooms became warm quickly because they’re small and tightly packed, we had to open a window. Also, the parking could be improved. I was blocked in by two cars. Additionally, I wish we had more initiatives for community engagement: picnics, hikes, paint nights, etc. I’m looking forward to working together to build a better environment for everyone.

Masjid Yaseen Burlingame is a beautiful and peaceful place of worship. The mosque is well-maintained, clean, and offers a serene environment for prayer and reflection. The community here is warm and welcoming, making everyone feel right at home. The facilities are excellent, and the organization of events and programs is top-notch. It's a wonderful place for both spiritual growth and community connection. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to pray and connect with others in the area.

Onlly issue with this masjid is they don’t have warm water on washroom a lot of people are sick can’t use cold water in winter me and my family members donate and give sadaqa to masjid they have to take care of this issue thanks

Very good location which is 5-10 mins from SFO and plenty of parking. The restroom And prayer area are very clean and organized. Must visit if you are near SFO and staying in nearby hotels Insyallah
